Please enroll in digital banking between 3 a.m. and 11:30 p.m. CT. You'll need the necessary information to enroll and get started with the new digital banking experience.
- If you are a new customer who has never banked online with TCF, simply click on the “Enroll now” link on the upper right of tcfbank.com and follow the prompts to enroll.
- If you are a current customer and have a login ID and password to bank online with us, please enter your login ID as usual. You’ll be prompted to enroll when it is your turn to enroll in the new digital banking experience. Step-by-step instructions will guide you through the enrollment process.
To enroll in digital banking, you need this information:
- The account number of your eligible account or debit/ATM card associated with that account.
- The PIN for that account or debit/ATM card.
- Your Social Security number, tax ID number, or if you don’t have either, your date of birth.
You’ll also need a supported computer or mobile device that includes a web browser with supported Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol. SSL helps provide a secure channel to send and receive data over the Internet.
Digital banking is viewed best with the two most recent versions of Microsoft Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Firefox or Safari. Other browsers may work, but the display and printing of pages may not be ideal and certain functionality may be unavailable.
If you need help with your login ID or password, click Forgot login ID or password? Enter your account or debit/ATM card number and we’ll provide your login ID. From there you can enter your password, or if you’ve forgotten it, create a new password by answering your security question.
Locked out during enrollment? If you are having problems enrolling and are unable to access your account, please make sure you are using your active account or debit card number and the PIN associated with the active account or card. This is particularly important if you have multiple accounts; please double check that you are entering the PIN associated with the account number or card number you are entering.
Enrolled successfully but are now locked out? If you successfully enroll but later have trouble logging in, go directly to tcfbank.com and click Forgot ID at the upper right. On the pop-up screen, select the new digital banking experience. This will take you to the login screen, where you can select Forgot ID or Password. You'll be prompted to enter your account information and answer your security question. Your Login ID will be provided and you'll be able to reset your password.
If you're repeatedly locked out, call us at 1-800-823-2265 (TTY 1-800-343-6145) for help regaining access to your account.
Your PIN is the 4-8 digit number known only to you, and allows you to access your account at an ATM or using phone banking. For your account security, we don't keep a record of your PIN. If you can’t remember your PIN or if you don't have one, please visit a branch or call 1-800-823-2265 (TTY 1-800-343-6145) to reset your PIN.
Find your account number on the bottom of printed checks or on a bank statement. If you're unable to locate your account number, you can use your debit/ATM card number to enroll in digital banking.
You set up your PIN during account opening or may have received one in the mail. Most people have a PIN to use with their debit or ATM card, and you need a PIN to enroll in digital banking. If you don't have a PIN or don't know what it is, we can help. Call 1-888-387-5270, press 1 for enrollment and press 1 again for PIN assistance. You can also visit your local branch for help.
If a personal loan is the only account you have with TCF and you need a PIN to enroll in digital banking, please call us at 1-800-823-5363 (TTY 1-763-559-0294).
If you only have a CD or IRA with TCF and need a PIN, please call 1-800-763-0294 (TTY 1-800-343-6145).
If you're enrolling in digital banking for an account that has multiple owners, you'll need the PIN associated with your own card to enroll.
Not at this time. You must enroll in digital banking through a web browser, such as Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Microsoft Internet Explorer, on your device or on a computer. After enrollment you can download the mobile app.
If you successfully completed enrollment but are now unable to log in, go to tcfbank.com and click Forgot ID at the upper right. On the pop-up screen that appears, select the new digital banking experience. This will take you to the login screen, where you should select Forgot ID or Password. You'll be prompted to enter your account information and answer your security question. Your Login ID will be provided and you'll be able to reset your password.
