Digital banking tips to enroll

Enroll in Digital Banking

You can enroll from the mobile app or from tcfbank.com.

  • To enroll from the app, go to the app store on your mobile device, search for the TCF Bank® mobile app, download it and follow the prompts.
  • From tcfbank.com, in the top Log in section, select Enroll now.

Forgot your password?


If you forget your security question, login ID or password:
Select Help? on the mobile app’s home screen, or go to tcfbank.com and within the top Log in box, select Forgot ID and follow the prompts. Once you fill in the required information, you can reset your login ID, security question and password.

If you didn’t enroll from the mobile app, now’s the time to download it so you can bank anytime. Go to the app store on your mobile device, search for the TCF® mobile app, download the app and follow the prompts.

Enroll in online statements

Tip: If you have a TCF Free Checking® account, there’s a fee to have paper statements mailed to you—but online statements are free.

To receive online statements, log in to digital banking:
  • Go to accounts & statements.
  • Select the account name.
  • Choose enroll in online statements.
To view your online statements:
  • Go to accounts & statements and select the name of the account.
  • Click on > online statements and then the date of the statement you’d like to view.

Mobile Banking App for iphone Includes Fingerprint ID

Log in quickly with a touch

Log in using your fingerprint instead of having to enter a login ID and password.

The first time you download the mobile app, you’ll be prompted to set up fingerprint ID (or facial recognition if that’s the biometric identity option on your device). If you skip setup at that time and want to enable it later, log into the mobile app and tap on the upper left dropdown menu.
  • Under settings, click on mobile.
  • Select your current device.
  • Select enable fingerprint authentication and confirm.
You can only set up fingerprint ID from the mobile app on your mobile device. It’s not available on computer or from a web browser.

Use quick glance to track your balance

Open the app and before logging in, select quick glance on the lower right. You’ll see your account balance and 10 most recent transactions, fast.
