Verifications of Deposit (VOD)

TCF processes all Verifications of Deposit (VOD) within approximately two business days. Each VOD must be submitted as a separate request and some requests may take longer to process. To submit a VOD please fax your request to:

Your Consumer Account Request Must Include the Following:

  • Your company's name and complete address
  • Your (requestor's) name and telephone number
  • The TCF Bank customer's name and address (for whom the information is requested)
  • The complete, all numeric account number (Masked account numbers with XXX's or letters will not be processed)
  • The account owner's full social security number
  • A signed and dated authorization from the account holder
  • Borrower's authorization should be in the same name as the entity requesting the verification, or provide the listing of relationship of authorized parties to request information.
