TCF Foundation - Minnesota
TCF Foundation Overview
TCF Foundation, the philanthropic arm of TCF National Bank,
extends charitable contributions to tax-exempt
501(c)(3) organizations in education, human services, community
development and the arts.
The Foundation allocates grants to local and regional organizations
engaged in nonprofit activities that are designed to improve the
economic and social well being of our communities.
Guidelines
Our current focus is to fund those organizations actively supported by TCF employees through volunteerism or service on boards and committees.
- TCF contributes to organizations that have a verifiable 501(c)(3)
tax-exempt status. Government agencies and public schools are
not required to provide evidence of status.
- TCF contributes to organizations located in areas where
TCF has a bank office.
- TCF does not directly contribute to individuals.
- TCF does not regularly commit to grants for more than one year. A grant is not an indication that support will be continued on a regular basis.
Submitting a Request
All grant requests must be submitted using the Minnesota Common Grant Application Form. The cover letter should include the TCF employee(s) names(s) involved with your organization. Applications will be accepted and reviewed on a quarterly basis. Please call (952) 745-2757 to obtain deadlines.
